Enjoy an early morning departure (by 8:30 AM) aboard a Robinson R44 or R66 helicopter, heading toward the dormant Mount Silali volcano. You’ll fly around the crater caldera before continuing over the dramatic Crocodile Pools, located on the southern edge of the Suguta Valley.
The journey then continues deeper into the valley, soaring over shifting sand dunes toward Lake Logipi. Enjoy an aerial view of flamingos and the striking Cathedral Rock, followed by a landing on the lake shore for a photo session.
Next, the flight heads toward the southern tip of Lake Turkana, where you’ll approach the rugged Nabiyotom Crater. A landing for ground photography may be offered, depending on conditions and at the pilot’s discretion.
The final leg takes you across to northern Laikipia, toward the breathtaking Matthews Range. Enjoy a landing and short nature walk in this remote mountain landscape before returning to your lodge by approximately 4:00 PM.
